Nirtyanjali 2011 - Over 15 Hours Of Dance At NEHTI The annual Nrityanjali function at the New England Hindu temple attracted over 250 participants. Nivedha (student of Sapna Krishnan), Ramya (student of Jothi Raghavan) and Devika (student of Mouli Pal) won the top three prizes in the dance competition.[more]
MITHAS Spring 2011 Concert Series Off To A Great Start Spring 2011 concert series for MITHAS was off to a great start on March 6th at the Wong Auditorium, MIT. Four well-spirited young artists adorned the stage for the first twenty minutes or so, followed by well-accomplished musicians from the New England area.[more]

T.M. Krishna At MITHAS - An Innings Of Pure Master Class MITHAS presented a vocal concert by Carnatic Maestro T.M. Krishna on May 22 at the Stata Center at MIT. Present in the audience was the great Hindustani vocalist Pandit Jasraj whose effusive praise of the concert was a clear testament to the brilliance of this recital.[more]
Triple Play Concerts At Chinmaya Mission Chinmaya Mission Boston presented a tri-series of Carnatic Classical music concerts on May 14 and 15th in Andover, MA. The series presented Rajesh Vaidya (Carnatic Veena), Nithyashree Mahadevan (Carnatic vocal) and Sudha Raghunathan (Carnatic vocal) in the Mission’s auditorium. The concerts were outstanding. [more]
