New England Dance Community Unites Again For Vision-Aid by Revathy Ramakrishna

Kathak, Sitar And Tabla - A Visual And Auditory Feast Strings N Beats is a unique dialogue between dance and music to be held on Sunday, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on November 19, 2017 at Cary Hall in Lexington, MA. Boston Bhangra 2017: A Huge Success The 14th year of Boston Bhangra was a huge success with over 2000 people in attendance and unbelievable performances by the teams. The Boston Bhangra Competition, called BBC for short, was hosted on November 11th, 2017 at the Orpheum Theatre. The winners were Philadelphia Bhangre De Shokeen, Michigan Bhangra Team and Virginia School of Bhangra - Waris.[more]

Lokvani Rising Stars In Dance The Boston area is blessed to have youngsters who work hard for six to eight years to gain proficiency in classical dance and perform an Arangetram. Some have competed at National Competitions. We present the Rising Stars in Dance to students of Jayashree Bala Rajamani, Jothi Raghavan, Kalaimangai Anbalagan, Neena Gulhati, Ranjani Saigal, Sridevi Thirumalai, Sunanda Narayanan and Veena Telli.
