Awaaz-e-Sufi - A Magical Evening Sufi music lovers were treated to a magical musical evening featuring Ghazals, Punjabi songs and a few golden oldies from Bollywood at the Regent Theater in Arlington, MA on July 2, 2017. Deepavali Light Musical Treat Hosted By Manitha Neyam Trust by Sushmi Meena Venkat Manitha Neyam Trust hosted the Deepavali Light Musical Treat (a full-fledged Tamil concert) on October 14th 2017, featuring a group of very talented young New England singers at the Chinmaya Maruti Center, Andover. The fundraiser which was attended by 250 people raised over $20,000 towards their vision of igniting universal passion and love for humanity that will steer current and future generations towards a world of peace, opportunity and happiness.[more]

On the evening of November 18th, at Regis College, the organization Radio MusicIndia in partnership with LearnQuest Academy of Music presented a bansuri concert by one of the greatest legends of Indian Classical Music, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. His consummate artistry successfully created a powerful common experience for the audience consisting of members of a variety of ages, ethnicities and cultures. Music Collaboration Charms Boston’s Bollywood Music Fans Bollywood popular star Shreya Ghoshal performed with the Berklee Indian Ensemble (BIE) on the evening of December 7 at the invitation of Berklee College of Music as resident artist for 2017. Produced by Berklee India Exchange’s Annette Philip (artistic director), Clint Valladeres (managing director), and Rohith Jayaraman (assistant manager), the concert titled “Shreya meets Berklee†commemorating BIE’s 5th anniversary was sold out several days before the day of the show.[more]
