The tale of a tiny village in Kerala, India where the air is sweet with the scent of blooming flowers and a lively group of children blur the line between the ordinary and the magical. One night, a boy makes a playful wish on a shooting star—that his teachers won’t show up to school the next morning. When the wish unexpectedly comes true, the children are swept into an enchanting chain of events that transforms their understanding of wonder, responsibility, and the world around them. Age 8+ If your children are unable to read subtitles, they can still watch the film. Subtitles will be read aloud through headphones by a professional voice over artist.
