RANGOLI COMPETITION IN SATSANG Center
Enjoy DIWALI with RANGOLI COMPETITION
On 7th, 8th and 9th October 2017 @ SATSANG Center
Rules and Regulations:
1) Rangoli art should not exceed the foam board size of 18" X24"
2) 4 categories for solo or group participants: below 8, 8-11, 12-16 & 16+
3) Rangoli competition is conducted on any of the 3 days (7th, 8th or 9th) from 8.30 to 12.30 and 1.30-4.30pm
4) Participants to bring all the required materials for their Rangoli.
5) Please register using the Link below by October 5th. Registration fees per Entry are $10, pay at the gate.
6) Rangoli should be prepared from scratch on the foam boards purchased (estimating $3 to $5 at Michaels). No part of the Rangoli can be pre-made before arriving to the competition.
7) Winners will be announced at a brief prize distribution ceremony at SATSANG on Oct 9th at 5 PM. Participants are welcome to join for this presentation ceremony.
Prizes: AWARDS: 9 prizes - 2 winners in each category & 1 Viewer’s choice Winner
Judging Criteria: based on the following Criteria
1) Overall Appearance and appeal
2) Design/Theme
3) Details and Clarity in Rangoli art
4) Color combination
5) Creativity, New ideas.
