Winter Concert of the Karnatic and Hindustani Music Circle Performance Series
The afternoon session will be devoted to a concert of Hindustani Classical Music, with JuniorConcert Segment by Ashwin Panda, Student of Shri Bishnu Chandra Panda and Smt. Swati Panda followed by Instrumental concert by Shri Dipankar Deshmukh, disciple of Sarod Maestro Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta of the Shajahanpur Gharana. The accompaniment will be announced shortly.
The evening session will be devoted to a concert of Carnatic Vocal music, with Junior Segment by Kum.Pavithra Devarajan, accompanied by Kum. Sahana Srinivasan on Violin both Students of acclaimed artist/teacher Smt. Tara Bangalore, Anubhava School of Music, who will be joined by Shri Tarun Bangalore on Mridangam Student of well known local artist and KHMC veteran Shri Pravin Sitaram. Junior concert will be followed by vocal concert by popular regional artist Smt. Chandrika Pai. The accompaniment will be announced shortly.
