Thai Poosam Function
Thai Pusam is a festival in which people enjoy themselves to the hilt in rich pageantry. This festival is celebrated for ten days immediately following the harvest season. The unique character of the Thai Pusam is displayed in an astonishing parade of people bearing kavadis.

10.30 a.m.: Vel Kavadis, decorated with peacock feathers, garlands and pictures of deitiesPal Kudam Poojai

11.00 a.m.: Lord Muruga Abisekham

11.30 a.m.: Lord Muruga Alankaram

12.00 p.m.: Master of Ceremonies:Uma Sekar,Devotional Songs: Kavitha Vijayasekar, Uma Iyer, Vasantha Seshan, Kala Prasad, Madushree Palaniswamy, Dr. Murugespillai Koneswaran, Sampath Narayanasamy and others

12:30 to 1.30 p.m.: Arathi/Deepam/Prasadam

1.30 p.m.: Lunch - Ordered at Udupi Restaurant
