Chopaal a Tamseeli Mushaera
featuring the poetry of some of the most pre-eminent Urdu poets. At this first of its kind Mushaera in Boston, some of our friends will present selected Urdu literary work from renowned male and female poets of the sub-continent from the past and the present. Each participant will take on the persona of a famous poet and recite his/her kalaam, doing their best to mimic the poet as closely as possible -- complete with hairstyle, garb, mannerisms and intonation. Your enthusiastic attendance is certain to make this a particularly entertaining and memorable event.
Doors open at 6:30 pm
