Shaam-e-Ghazal
2011 is the centennial birth year of revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz, whose ghazals we listen and enjoy regularly. Mr. Iqbal Husain Salani, a famous visiting artist who has sung with many artistes, including Mehdi Hasan will sing some of Faiz's famous ghazals. Our own, Mr. Chris Pereji will accompany Iqbal Sahab on Tabla. Faiz Sahab has been sung by artistes like Runa Laila and Sukhwinder Singh to Mehdi Hasan, Khayyam, Abida Parveen, Noor Jehan, Iqbal Bano and everyone in between.
