Sir Syed Annual Mushaira
The Aligarh Alumni Association, presents and requests your presence at the Sir Syed Annual Mushaira on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 7:30 pm at the Brown Middle School, 125 Meadowbrook Road, Newton Center, Newton, MA. the following poets have confirmed their participation. Famous Bollywood lyricist janab Nida Fazli, Janab Rais Ansari, Ms. Naseem Nighat and Janab Tariq Subzwari and jovial poetry by Khaled Irfan. You will also enjoy the renditions by local talent as well like Janab Maarij Kirmani, Janab Jamal Qadri, Janab Sarvar Iqbal and others. Tickets are only $20/adult and $5 for children which includes baby-sitting. There will be lots of activities to keep the kids busy with arts and crafts. Vegtarian and non-vegetarian food is available for a nominal charge of $8 which will include complimentary Siwayee.
