This month's theme: Education Meet a number of innovative organizations that are working to bring hope, foster peace and deliver social impact around the world. * Hear their amazing stories. * Meet others interested in supporting social impact * Build your social network * Get engaged with a cause Speakers include: * Appa Madiwale from Vidya Poshak - Vidya Poshak empowers underprivileged students to pursue higher education beyond 10th grade through scholarships and text books. www.vidyaposhak.org * Mayank Agrawal from Pardada Pardadi Educational Society - Since 2000, Pardada Pardadi Educational Society has been improving the lives of girls in rural India. Its mission is to uplift and empower girls from the poorest sections of society by providing free education and vocational training. www.education4change.org * Arti Pandey from Barakat - Barakat exists to strengthen the fundamental human rights to education in South and Central Asia by providing exemplary basic education and advancing literacy, particularly for women and children. www.barakatworld.org * Kavita Shah from Nanhi Kali - Nanhi Kali is a participatory project in which individuals, groups and corporate sponsor the education of girls between grades 1 and 10 for at least one year.
