About the artists:
Sadhana Upadhyay: Sadhana's training in Classical Vocal music was attained in India, at respectively, Besant School and Banaras University, under the guidance of the Late Pundit M.K. Samant, and the Late Pundit M.V. Kalvint. Sadhana is a faculty and a board member of LearnQuest Academy of Music in Waltham, MA, where she teaches vocal music.
Her music is characterized by a resonant, rich voice. Sadhana specialized in the Khayal genre. She performs in the Boston area frequently. Sadhana is a licensed clinician by training, a long time resident of Concord, MA, and is active in the state and local Democratic Parties
