Talk and Seminar Series: Two-part Workshop: From fear to freedom – Part I No one likes fear, yet many of us live with it almost constantly. Most of the time we hold it a little below our conscious thought, yet too often it emerges as feelings of anxiety; and in the worst case we feel anxiety for no apparent reason at all. To be free from anxiety and fear is to be free indeed. Tyrone Jackson has spent years in the world of healthcare and public relations experimenting with methods to become truly free from fear. Suppression and repression are always an option, but true freedom requires a deep understanding of the nature of the self and of our true relationship with what is happening. Tyrone is the Assistant Director of Recreation Therapy and the Spiritual Advisor for Grief & Loss team at Cedar Crest Rehabilitation Centre in Rhode Island. A long time spiritual seeker, he has studied and practiced Raja Yoga meditation for over two years. Tyrone has taught Positive Mental Attitude at Johnson & Wales University. All are welcome.
