Guru Poornima Satsang @ BOSTON The Lord incarnated as Sage Vyasa to teach the world. Vyasa rightfully holds the seat of Guru. Was He not verily the one who grouped the Vedas, authored the various Epics, particularly the Bhakti Granta of Srimad Bhagavatam detailing the dispositions of Bhagavan and the deep devotion of Bhaktas? The full moon ('poornima') of the 'ashada' month was the day whence Vyasa was born. Therefore, this particular Poornima is called Vyãsa Poornima or Guru Poornima.
