Talk and Seminar Series: Inner and Outer Leadership
A strong leader is able to manage him/herself mentally, emotionally and intellectually. Only then is he/she able to effectively lead others. In this seminar you will learn how to develop the skills required to lead during turbulent times and steer a ship through stormy waters, how to be in tune with yourself and the environment around you, understand Change and human responses to change, how to focus on strengths and have a clear direction, discover the art of turning negatives into positives and creating a harmonious environment. The presenter for this evening, Irene Miller has a master's degree in clinical psychology, and 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist dealing with stress and life transitions. In her work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Irene researched organizational behavior and cultural change in the area of diversity. Currently she designs and facilitates groups on personal empowerment and self-realization, including teaching meditation as a tool for therapeutic change. She is a teacher and eternal student of Raja Yoga and also coordinates retreats for women at Peace Village. All are welcome.
