Bharatnatyan: Demonstration and Lecture - Sunanda Narayanan Bharatnatyan: Demonstration and Lecture by Sunanda Narayanan Musical Interlude by Harvard Sangeet Sponsored by The South Asia Initiative at Harvard University Sunanda Narayanan is an acclaimed exponent of the Vazhuvoor tradition of Bharata Natyam, the most popular classical dance form of India. She had her training under Guru Rhadha, one of the foremost Bharatanatyam teachers and choreographers of today. Sunanda has been performing solo and duo with her sister Sumitra for over two decades, in India and abroad. She has given over 250 solo performances in several Indian cities and in USA, Canada, and Brazil. Sunanda runs a dance school, Thillai Fine Arts Academy, in Newton, MA and trains several talented students in Bharatanatyam.
