Navaratri Festival / Wesleyan An annual festival of Indian music, food and dance Wednesday-Sunday, October 3-7 Navaratri, one of the main festivals of India, is a time to see family and friends, enjoy music and dance concerts and seek blessings for new endeavors. This year's festival offers a chance to see some of India's leading artists and scholars, view a screening of the art-film classic The Music Room, join in a celebratory feast and observe the religious traditions of Navaratri at a worship service. The Navaratri Festival is sponsored by the Center for the Arts and is made possible by support from the Jon B. Higgins Memorial Fund, John Spencer Camp Fund, RAGA Club of Connecticut, Music Department and individual patrons.
