Pathways to Opening Quality Educational Opportunity for India's Knowledge Economy
The IIT Madras Alumni Association of Boston will be hosting a talk by Dr. Vijay Kumar next week. Dr. Vijay Kumar has been deeply involved in the National Knowledge Commission in India over the past year. He will discuss his and NKC's work in a talk titled:
'Pathways to Opening Quality Educational Opportunity for India's Knowledge Economy'.
For those of you who are unaware, the National Knowledge Commission has the mission to build excellence in the educational system to meet the knowledge challenges of the 21st century and increase India's competitive advantage in fields of knowledge. The NKC is laying a platform to build on India's knowledge economy and help Indians keep pace and leapfrog in an era of e-Education. Dr. Vijay Kumar, with his work on Open Courseware and technology enabled learning is paving the way for future generation indians to be educated.
