PANDIT VIDYADHAR VYAS is the foremost contemporary exponent of the Paluskar style of North Indian classical singing. Dr. Vyas was groomed and trained in khyal, tarana and bhajan gayaki by his renowned father Pandit Narayanrao Vyas, himself an outstanding disciple of Pt. Paluskar. Gifted with a voice that is mellow and musical to the core, Pt. Vyas presents a uniquely beautiful and pleasing blend of the form and content of Khyal. Pt Vyas is also endowed with the rare talent of music composition and his Khyal and Tarana compositions are pieces of pure joy and ecstasy to his listeners.

A top-notch concert performer, Pt.Vyas has sung in all the important musical citadels of India, and is frequently invited to perform abroad , with concerts at Wesleyan University, the World Music Institute, the World Music Festival held in Rotterdam, Holland, the International Indian Music Conference at Mauritius, and hundreds of other international venues. Awarded 'Top Grade' by All India Radio, Pt.Vyass recordings are available on Swarashree-CBS, Magnasound HMV, India Archives Music, and Simla House Records. Pt.Vyas has also shown his thespian flair by playing major roles in many Marathi musicals and singing Natya Sangeet to the sheer delight of his audiences.

Widely travelled at home and abroad, Pt. Vyas periodically teaches Hindusthani music and music appreciation in universities and institutions in USA and elsewhere abroad. The Rotterdam Conservatorium in Europe has Pt.Vyas on the faculty as regular visiting artist-teacher.

Dr. Vidyadhar Vyas holds a Doctorate in Hindusthani Classical Vocal Music from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. In 1973, he was selected to become the Principal of the Government Music College at Jaipur. He nurtured this institution till 1984 when he moved to Mumbai to head the Music Department of the University of Mumbai. A pinnacle of his university career was reached when in 2004 Pt. Vyas became the first Vice Chancellor of the Bhatkhande Music Institute Deemed University at Lucknow.

Dr. NISHIKANT SONWALKAR is an accomplished Tabla Player of North Indian Classical style. He earned his Bachelors degree in music under the supervision of the renowned Pandit Kiran Deshpande and Pandit Khargoankar of Indore, MP. Shri Sonwalkar regularly performed on All India Radio and Doordarshan (TV). During the period of last several years in USA, he accompanied distinguished musicians from India, vocalists such as Firoz Dastoor, Gulam Mustafa Khan, Vinayak Torvi, Ganapati Bhatt Gokulotsav Maharaj, Vidyadhar Vyas, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Sudha Malhotra, Sujata Bhattacharya, Tripti Mukherjee and Sumitra Guha, and instrumentalists such as Buddhadev Dasgupta, Bhaskar Chndravarkar and Jamir Ahmad Khan. Dr. Sonwalkar is the Founder and Chairman of iDL Systems Inc. He teaches Tabla at LearnQuest Academy of Music.

Dr. STAN SCOTT is the director of the Rangila School of Music. A senior disciple of Pandit Vidyadhar Vyas, Shri Mohan Singh, Sushil Mukherjee, K. C. Banerjee, and Kali Das Gupta, Dr. Scott has performed as a featured soloist at Prabha Atre's Swaramayee Gurukul in Pune, the Bhatkhande Institute of Music and the Ramakrishna Math in Lucknow, the National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai, Rabindra Sadan in Calcutta, and hundreds of other venues at home and abroad. He teaches Hindustani vocal music at Wesleyan University and world music at Southern Connecticut State University.
