Ethos and Indian Music Masters world music concert
Ethos will collaborate with Indian percussionist Tabla player Samir Chatterjee and Sarangi maestro (Strings) Ramesh Misra in a mesmerizing and hypnotic evening of East and West music and rhythms.Marimba, Chinese Gongs, Riq, Djembe, Tibetan Prayer bowls-all tools of the trade for the fascinating for the Ethos Percussion Group, an extraordinary quartet of musicians who have thrilled audiences with their instruments from around the globe. Ethos has championed works by major artists such as John Cage, Steve Reich, Simon Shaheen, Glen Velez and Masters of Indian Music appearing at the Performers Series at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Bermuda festival and Wigmore Hall, London.
