Passionate Pursuits … A Celebration of International Women’s Day! Loving life and transforming the world; what’s in your realm of possibilities? Come join us on March 11, 2006 at the Orlando Marriott Downtown for an evening of heart inspiring speakers, multi-cultural dance performances, acclaimed artists, sumptuous delicacies, festivities and fun celebrating the incredible accomplishments of women in our area! Passionate Pursuits … A Celebration of International Women’s Day is THE event for this Spring season. From 6:30pm-10:00pm the air will sizzle with Indian, Thai and Philippine music as graceful dancers flow across the gilded stage. Our inspiring speakers will leads us on The Journey to Find Our Passion and help us to discover The Secrets of Our Inner-Self Number. An international vegetarian dinner buffet, global bazaar & marketplace, artisan gallery and silent auction help to heighten the excitement as we build to the highlighted moment of the evening: The Global Women’s Humanitarian Award! Honoring a local woman doing global things, the 1008 Wells Foundation celebrates regular women capable of extraordinary things when passion fills their heart. Express yourself, your love of life, and your heritage; cultural attire is encouraged! The 1008 Wells Foundation raises awareness and funding for freshwater wells in the marginalized and remote regions of India.
