The Young People Today – The Leaders of Tomorrow TiE-Boston is proud to announce TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) a new Special Interest Group (SIG) geared towards youth between the ages of 14 and 18. Globalization has made the business world an extremely competitive place and as such, TiE-Boston has begun this initiative in the name of arming young adults with a better foundation of business sense and acumen. TYE’s mission is to run a unique leadership and mentoring program that builds business and professional skills for students in grades eight to twelve. TYE plans to have their first program, a business plan competition, in Spring 2006. Prior to that, we plan to have successful entrepreneurs and business executives hold classes and workshops on “how to write a business planâ€. The classes and workshops will be held at (MIT) during after school hours or weekends. The winning team of the competition will be announced at TiECON East 2006 in June at Hynes Convention Center.
