Niti-Shataka
The IAP program (January 11, 18, 25 and February 1) focuses on the study of Bhartrihari's Niti-shataka ("Hundred Verses on Ethics"), an ancient Sanskrit text which deals with the practice of ethical and moral values in daily life. As usual, the program will begin with Vedic prayer and guided meditation and will be followed by informal discussion. In the first three classes, we have covered the first 60 verses.
