Chhandika Kathak Dance Annual Student Show and Fundraiser
Chhandika presents its student Annual Show with guest of honor Pandit Chitresh Das, renowned Kathak dance master and teacher of Chhandika’s Artistic Director Gretchen Hayden. Pandit Das will accompany Chhandika students with his dazzling percussion and recitation while students of all ages and levels offer the audience a glimpse into this North Indian dance and storytelling tradition. The performance is also a fundraiser to support this unique organization in continuing to offer classes, outreach programs and performances throughout New England. Please join us for the show and a reception which will include Indian chai and snacks.
