Veena Sahasrabuddhe Milind Pote on the Tabla Ranjani Ramachandran is a disciple of renowned Hindustani vocalists Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar and Smt. Veena Sahasrabuddhe. A well-modulated, powerful voice and variety in bol-taans are the acknowledged hallmarks of her style, reflecting her rigorous training in the traditions of the Jaipur and Gwalior gayaki. Ranjani’s repertoire also includes Thumris and Dadras, learnt from Smt. Girija Devi, and bhajans from Pandit Kashinath Shankar Bodas. In recognition of her talent, Ranjani was awarded the prestigious resident scholarsh! ip of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata and the Young Artist Scholarship by the Government of India. She is a graded AIR artiste and has performed at numerous prestigious venues throughout India. Milind Pote, the acclaimed Tabla player from Pune, is a disciple of Pt. Suresh Talwalkar.
