Kumkum Sanyal / Concert For Tsunami Victims An evening of Indian classical, Light and Thumri vocal music to raise the donations for Tsunami victims. Help the humanity while having fun. A singer par-excellence, Kumkum Sanyal has mesmerized music lovers with her Soulful rendition of Khayals, Thumris, and Bhajans. Endowed with a mellifluous voice and a gift of touching the heart of her audiences, she has enthralled Hindustani music lovers all over India and the United States with her spiritual Khayals, devotional Bhajans and romantic Thumris. Her astonishing musical talents were recognized early in her childhood and developed under the guidance of accomplished teachers of classical music. She has won Gold Medals at many national and state competitions in India. Aided by her creative genius and rigorous training, Kumkum has assimilated and combined different styles of Hindustani classical music and evolved a distinctive style of her own.
