Turn the Tide- A Benefit Dinner & Art Auction for Tsunami Victims in India This benefit dinner is a part of the fund raising effort. There will also be a benefit auction of pieces of art donated by artists We invite you to pledge your support for the tsunami victims by participating in this event. The base cost of a dinner plate is $100 - we however urge you to pay the most you can for a plate. Association for India’s Development, Inc. (AID), a US-based voluntary non-profit development organization with over 40 chapters across the US, has already committed $75,000 from its relief and rehabilitation fund towards immediate relief efforts in India. Significantly more funds are needed to ensure speedy relief and long term rehabilitation for the disaster-affected people and AID stresses the need for communities and individuals to continue to give and donate.
