A Non-Western Tradition: Classical Sikh Ragas (POSTPONED)
Coming to us from India, three classical musicians, descendants of a 400 year-old performing tradition, will present a program of Sikh ragas featuring voice, harmonium and tabla and, for uninitiated western ears, accompanied by commentary on the music and its cultural and deeply spiritual significance.
