Thalssa Ali Reads from her new book
Thalassa Ali's new novel unravels the mysteries of Islam though the fast paced tale of a young Englishwoman who must choose between two cultures.
A Beggar at the Gate is a sequel to Ali's popular earlier novel, A singular Hostage.
Although she now lives in Boston, Thalassa has never lost her deep connection to the East, and particularly to Pakistan, a country she calls her second home.
