Swadharma and Samanya Dharma You may have often heard the term "Dharma" in relation to Hindu ideology. Miriam Webster defines “Dharma” as an individual's duty fulfilled by observance of custom or law. However, “Dharma” in Hinduism is more than mere duty. It is a profound concept, which Bhagwan Krishna explains in Bhagvad Gita. Bhagwan reveals to Arjuna the guiding principles of Swadharma (individual responsibilities) and Samanya dharma (universal responsibilities) that one should practice for the harmony of individual and society. The Hindu Parents Network is delighted to host an engaging program featuring Ami Ganatra, a renowned author and speaker, to examine the timeless principles of "Swa Dharma" and "Samanya Dharma” and their significance in modern life. The talk will be followed by an interactive Q&A Session where attendees can ask questions and gain a deeper understanding. The program will conclude with a book signing and meet and greet session, offering a chance to connect with Ami Ganatra personally. Her books will also be available for purchase at the event. August 3rd, 3-5 pm EST Common Street Spiritual Center, 13 Common St, Natick, MA 01760 This program is open to ages 13+.
