Interfaith Vigil Against Hate
Hindus for Human Rights, Muslims for Progressive Values, and India Civil Watch International are co-sponsoring an interfaith vigil against hate on Saturday from 1:30-2:30 at the Democracy Center. As the Vishva Hindu Parishad holds a procession commemorating the 1990 Ram Rath Yatra and the building of the Ram temple at the site of the Babri Masjid, this short event is an opportunity to show that people of diverse faith communities stand against Hindu supremacy and hate, and all participants will have the opportunity to offer a short prayer or reflection.
