Padmashri Dr. Gopal Das Neeraj / Hindi Songs and Poetry
Padmashri Dr. Gopal Das ‘Neeraj’, an eminent writer of many film songs and books, needs no introduction. He is a national icon and the foremost poet alive in India. His poetry touches the very depths of human emotions as he sings in his melodious voice. Besides many highest civilian and literary honors and awards, some of his poems are included in school textbooks. Shashank Prabhakar is a rising star and a celebrated lyricist reciting poems on national and international stage since the age of 18. He is widely published in all major Hindi literary magazines and is a regular on All India Radio, Door Darshan and Sahara TV. He has performed in UK and Scotland. Sarvesh Asthana is a leading satirist in India who has entertained millions of people with his writings. Five books to his credit and a recipient of numerous awards, he has participated in more than 1500 kavi sammelans and mushairas in the last 15 years. He has recited his poetry in many radio and TV programs including BBC & ZeeTV, and has published in all major publications in India. From the podium, he will make you laugh and laugh and deliver the serious message that will be remembered for a long time to come.

Directions: From Route 495, take exit 25A (Hudson - Route 85). Continue on the exit extension through first traffic light. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Route 85. Continue for about one mile. After a traffic light school entrance is on the left.From Route 20, take Route 85 toward Hudson. Go through two traffic lights. The driveway to the high school is on your right immediately after the Marlboro police station.
