SAATh Presents Blacky's Trunk - Kalu Ka Baksa
BLACKY'S TRUNK / KALU KA BAKSAA is written in English and Hindi, and is set in the high tradition of tragicomedy. A play in two acts, BT/KKB alternates between English and Hindi in each act, but is structured in such a manner that an audience member knowing only one language -- only English or only Hindi -- will understand the entire play by the end of the performance. The play captures a sense of multiplicity within each individual's Self. Above all, "BT/KKB" is very much a celebration that considers timeless human values as we are propelled into an increasingly multi-cultural 21st century.
