Join writer/rocker TANUJA DESAI HIDIER as she does a reading from her acclaimed first novel, the Indian-American coming-of-age tale BORN CONFUSED-- complete with live custom-made mix from NYC's DJ REKHA. Also up for some fun will be the bands Tanuja sings/songwrites in, San Transisto (down from London) and T&A (up from Williamsburg), who will be launching WHEN WE WERE TWINS, their cross-Atlantic collaborative CD of original pop/rock/electro-folk songs based on BORN CONFUSED. Rekha keeps things spinning between sets. Both the CD and book will be on sale at the event.
