LearnQuest Pre-Concert Shuchita Rao (Dhrupad); Nitin Pandit (Santoor); Rajesh Pai (Tabla), Pradeep Shukla (Khayal), Phil Scarff(Saxophone)
DHRUPAD: Shuchita Rao & New England Dhrupad Ensemble will present an ancient form of Indian Classical Vocal music with a brief description of this form. SANTOOR: Nitin Pandit will present “Santoor†(Instrumental) Music, he will be accompanied by Rajesh Pai on Tabla. KHAYAL: Pradeep Shukla will present a raaga in Khayal, an Indian Classical Vocal tradition. Raaga & Jazz: A jam session blending Jazz Music with Indian Raagas, performed by Phil Scarff, Pradeep Shukla and Nitin Pandit on the Santoor (Instrumental).
