Ulhas Bapat (Santoor) and Nitin Mitta (Tabla) Pandit Ulhas Bapat started his initial training as a vocalist with his father. Later he studied with two of India's renowned vocalists maestros K. G. Ginde and Wamanrao Sadolikar. He also learnt Tabla (North Indian Drums) with Maestro Ramakant Mhapsekar. He advanced his music studies under the tuelage of the celebrated Sarod ( string instrument ) maestro Mrs. Zarine Daroowala. Studying with the acknowledged maestros of percussion, vocal and intrumental music. Ulhas Bapat has an enlightened approach to his music. Ulhas has given enchanting performances in India and abroad at various music conferences. His music is available on CDs and Cassettes. Adapting to the chormatic scale tuning system, Bapat has eliminated the need of retuning after each raga (melody). Thanks to his chromatic tuning he can move from one Raaga to another with facility. Nitn Mitta : is one of India's rising Tabla player. He has recieved several awards and a three year National Scholorship from the Department of Culture in New Delhi, India. He has also been a member of SPICMACY ( Society of Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youth ). Nitin has accompanied eminent Indian vocalists like Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Rajan-Sajan Mishra, Pt. Vidyadharvyas, Shri sanjeev Abhyankar, instrumentalists Grammy recipient Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, Pandit Ulhas Bapat, Pandit Partha Chatterjee, and Shri Purbayan Chaterjee. He has performed in India, USA, Germany, England, France, Ireland and Finland. Nitin is featured on a CD with Music Today.
