Cancer Institute Foundation (CIF), US based organization (volunteer groups) dedicated to raise funds and support Adyar Cancer Institute, India in all aspects of Cancer Treatment. Adyar Cancer Institute is the only free standing, non-profit, non-Government, autonomous institution, providing excellent care to cancer patients regardless of their financial status since 1954. About 60% get treatment free or subsidized. Adyar Cancer Institute also supports Cachar Cancer Hospital, 50-bedded center located in Silchar town, serving the people of Barak river valley and the neighboring states of Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.
