Teenage Identity & Diversity Education Conference
It is Youth LEAD's great pleasure to announce our annual Teenage Identity and Diversity Education Conference, to be held at Emerson College from May 27-29, 2016. Our theme this year is Our theme this year is "Lean in: Transforming Conflict through Communication" - the idea is to train our participants to "lean in" to difficult conversations around issues of identity - race, gender, class, religion, and so on. It's also our aim that participants will learn how to listen deeply, and create safe spaces for conversation and collaboration. The skills from this Conference, especially in our current global political climate, are infinitely transferrable and will allow our participants to be unique leaders in school, university, and their future work environments.
