Ethnic Heritage Festival
Newton celebrates its diversity through an Ethnic Heritage Festival on Mother's day, May 8th, 10 am-5 pm. A day filled with ethnic music,dances, games, arts, crafts, and food representing the city’s rich culture. Enjoy Indian food, art, craft and games through the day and vibrant dance and music showcase, (10-10: 30 am and 12:30-2:30 pm). This celebration is a part of the Festival of the Arts organized by the City of Newton and its Newton Community Pride committee. The Festival of the Arts, spans 3 months of celebrations in art, music, theater, opera, dance, food, poetry, storytelling and authors at venues across the city of Newton from April to June 2016.
