ISW India Day
A cultural extravaganza For 27 years, the India Society has organized the India Day as a way of commemorating the Indian independence, celebrating the Indian community in Massachusetts and providing a window into Indian culture. This year, India day grows to a scale like never before. India day will be held at the magnificent DCU Center in Worcester in partnership with over 20 community organizations and feature: • Free and open for all • Entertainment: Music and dance featuring all the states of India. The cultural performances will be in partnership with over 20 regional community organizations. • Food: If you think you know Indian cuisine, think again. India Day 15 will feature a showcase of cuisines from the four corners of India • Activities for Children of all ages • Free Health Stop – an India day tradition • Meena Bazaar: independent vendors showcasing a rich array of artifacts, clothing, jewelry and more.
