TeamAIDAsha Marathon Training Program- Info session TeamAIDAsha is a beginner-friendly marathon/half-marathon training and fundraising program. We train runners for full or half marathon races (Marine Corps Marathon in DC or Baystate full/half marathon in Lowell), and runners raise funds for AID and Asha. Please join our FREE information session on Sunday, April 5th at 2:00PM. Who should attend? • Anyone from couch potatoes to experienced runners • Anyone looking for a challenging activity this summer • Anyone looking to make a difference in the world Membership benefits: • Detailed 25-week training plan with group runs every Saturday (starting on April 11th) until race day • Coaching support, Fundraising support, Mentorship by alumni runners • Entry into Marine Corps Marathon in DC (Oct 25th) or Baystate full/half marathon in Lowell (Oct 18th) • Water support during group runs • Social events and life-long friendships About the TeamAIDAsha This team is jointly organized by volunteers from the Boston/MIT chapters of Association for India's Development (AID) and Asha for Education. We are in our 13th year, and over 270 runners have trained with us and completed full and/or half marathons. Our runners have raised more than $700,000 to support grassroots development and educational projects in India.
