Kids Got Talent
India Society of Worcester and Spirit of Shrewsbury Festival proudly present Kids Got Talent Competition Date: September 27th, 2014 Venue: Oak Middle School Auditorium, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Deadline for entries: September 20, 2014 Kids can showcase any talent: Dancing, acting, singing, standup comedy, playing musical instrument, impressions, martial arts and many more. These are solo performances. Duos or group performances are not allowed. Only one entry per child. Multiple performances/entries are not allowed Maximum performance time is 3 minutes. The contest is open to all children in the below age groups. The first 20 entries that are submitted in each age group will get a chance to compete. Top 3 in each age group will get a prize Detailed schedule to be announced Sept 26, 2014 Judging Criteria: Judging Criteria Description of Criteria Points Originality / Interpretation Use of creativity,ingenuity 20 Appearance / Costume Use of costume/dress appropriate to the act/ performance 10 Technical Ability Voice projection, stage presence, use of instruments,props,sets 10 Professionalism Overall confidence,poise , ability to communicate with the audience 25 Complexity of Act / Talent Level of difficulty in act / presentation 15 Overall Performance Audience response, eye contact with audience, overall presentation 20 Total Points 100 All the performances are SOLO only Time limit for the performance - 3 min.
