Carnatic Cadenzas
The concert will feature Carnatic vocal music repertoire re-presented with contemporary arrangements including tabla, harmonium, mridangam and Persian oud. An album of Carnatic- inspired contemporary music - 'Ka' will also be released at the concert.

About 'Ka' - composed by Shirish Korde
'Ka' is a CD of Contemporary Indian classical music. Ka has two tracks composed by celebrated Indian-American composer Shirish Korde and recorded live with Boston Musica Viva, Boston's foremost contemporary classical ensemble at Tsai Performance Center, Boston last year.
