The Colors of India Dover Rug & Home, offering the largest selection of fine floor coverings and window treatments in New England, is pleased to announce its presentation of The Colors of India, a production celebrating culture and the intricate art of rug making. As part of ArtWeek Boston, the exhibition, presentation and reception opens at the American Islamic Congress, 38 Newbury Street, Boston on Saturday, September 28 followed by additional presentations Tuesday, October 1 and Thursday, October 3. All take place 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. This cultural experience offers guests a rare glimpse into the world of rug-making, with a showing of the highly praised documentary Colors of India. Mahmud Jafri, CEO of Dover Rug & Home will be in attendance and available for a Q&A after the showing. One-of-a-kind rugs will be displayed in the Gallery for viewing. Traditional Indian food, beverages and music will be available for guests throughout the night. All guests also receive a free rug appraisal, compliments of Dover Rug & Home, as well as a $100 Dover Rug & Home gift certificate, good towards a purchase of $1,000 or more. Copies of Colors of India will also be for sale.
