2nd Annual Deshpande Symposium on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Higher Education The Deshpande Foundation helps accelerate the creation of sustainable, scalable enterprises that have significant social and economic impact. The Deshpande Foundation has also been bringing together institutions of higher education that share a common interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. Last year it held the first symposium on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Higher Education hosted at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and it was very well received. This year it will be holding the Symposium on June 12 and 13 in partnership with the University of Massachusetts Lowell to bring together like minded professionals focused on the Entrepreneurial University – in the curriculum, as enterprise generators and as examples of entrepreneurially driven institutions.
