Academy of Creative Arts partnered with Keys for Kids to help raise funds for FOLMADS. FOLMADS (Friends of Lexington Music, Art, and Drama Students, Inc.) is a non-profit organization created to foster and promote excellence in the fine and performing arts programs in the Lexington Public Schools. FOLMADS furnishes grant money for various projects within the district, such as new equipment for students, guest artists, and musical instruments.As a result of these grants, the quality of arts education in Lexington is improved.

Academy of Creative Arts students were invited to exhibit and participate at the Keys for Kids gala on May 18th at Cary hall in Lexington. Academy of creative arts - Drawing and Painting department students exhibited their art work in the Cary Hall during the gala, while the dance department students wowed the audiences with their colorful costumes and an absolutely amazing Kathak dance performance on melodious bollywood style music.
