BOCCA/GARDENBURGER BURGER CURRY
Ingredients
1. Original flavor bocca burgers----------8
2. Oil ----------4tbs
3. Mustard seeds -----------1/2 tsp
4. Chopped onion ----------1.5 cups
5. Green chilies ----------6
6. curry leaves ----------3 stems
7. Ginger garlic paste ---------2tbs
7. Tomato paste ---------2tbs
8. Roasted coriander powder ----------3tbs
9. Roasted chili powder ----------1tbs
10. Turmeric powder ------------1/4 tsp
11. Salt ------------3/4tsp
12. Coconut milk -----------1 can
13. Garam Masala -----------1tbs
Pop the mustard seeds in oil and fry the ingredients. 4-6 for 5 minutes. Add Coriander and Chilli powders and stir for a minute and add 9-12.Fry for another minute. Cut the boccas into 1/2inch squares and put in the fried mixture and stir until all the pieces are covered with the mixture, cover and keep it in low flame for 4 minutes. Add the coconut milk and garam masala and stir. Keep it on the stove for one more minute. Do not boil.
Garam masala
1.Fennal seeds------------4tbs
2. Cloves ------------10
3. Cinnamon stick--------1
4.Cardomom -----------10
5.Black pepper------------2tbs
Roast all these together and make the powder.
CHICKEN CURRY
Ingredients
1. Boneless chicken------------------2lb
2. Salt-----------------------------------1tbs
3. Oil------------------------------------4tbs
4. Chopped onions--------------------1.5 cups
5. Green chilies--------------------------8
6. Ginger garlic paste------------------3tbs
7. Tomato paste-------------------------2tbs
8. Curry leaves--------------------------3 strings
9. Roasted coriander powder-------------4tbs
10. Roasted chili powder ------------------- 1.5tbs
11. Turmeric powder--------------------------1/2 tbs
12.Coconut milk--------------------------------1 can
13.Garam Masala powder---------------------------3tbs
Cut the chicken into med. Pieces. Heat oil and fry the onions for five minutes. Add all the ingredients, except coconut milk and garam masala. Stir well and cook for 20 minutes. Add the coconut milk and garam masala and keep for another 1 minute on med. Heat. Do not boil.
