| Over 2000 Devotees Start The New Year With Baba’s Blessings |

January 1st, 2014, marked the beginning of another Great New Year at Shirdi Sai Temple in Chelmsford, MA.
Devotees from all over New England and beyond came to the temple to seek Baba’s blessings. This was a whole day event. It started with \ Baba’s Kakad Aarthi and then Darshans throughout the day. Laghu Aarthi and Archanas were performed every hour. Over 2000 people with greatest devotion and zeal participated in the whole day event. Our committed volunteers came up with wonderful, artistic themes and decorated Baba with flowers and ornamental items. The whole podium was bedecked in flowers and Baba was beautifully surrounded. This truly was a spiritual delight to watchand a great way to start 2014.
Devotees felt fortunate and blessed after taking Baba’s Darshan. In addition there were renditions of bhajans with mesmerizing spiritual tunes. The presence of many devotees made it a blissful evening and all enjoyed the festivities and Bhandara (Maha Prasad) cooked at the temple by the volunteers.
As you may know, since our inception in 2006 our vision has been to be build a permanent Shirdi Sai Temple and Mission Center in the New England Area. With the blessings for Shri Sai and support from all you, we have been making steady progress towards our shared vision.
Now, as a great beginning to the new year 2014, NESSP is e delighted to announce the securing of a much required 3.5 Million Line of credit towards land and construction for establishing this permanent Sai Temple in the town of Groton, MA.Baba’s grace has brought us closer to our Goal. Our total secured funding is now north of $4.5 Million. Our goal is to inaugurate the permanent temple by 2017 in concert with the centennial celebration of Shri Sai Sansthan, Shridi.
At this time, we also want to let you know that we will be enhancing our activities and community services. We plan to run more kid focused programs in addition to the current Sunday Activities, Regular Meditation sessions, Special Math Classes, College Guidance Seminars and Guest Speaker programs. We will also beincreasing our Temple timings to support a wider devotee base. Please stay tuned as we make significant updates to activities in support of our community.
With Baba’s Blessings, our volunteers and devotees were instrumental in making Welcome to 2014 related events successful. We again wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year 2014 and look forward to meeting you at the temple soon.
