SWARAAG this Saturday OCT 26th at Ashland High School (65 E Union St) 4PM brings in an extravagant high par event that encompasses a Bollywood Music & Dance Competition and special guests: Comedian Dan Nainan and playback singer Anuradha Palakurthi.
Comedian Dan Nainan who has performed for President Barack Obama, Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak, and other prominent people will be bringing in some comic relief. His recent tours with Russell Peters have been well received.
Playback singer Anuradha Palakurthi brings us an engaging PrimeTime music segment filled with Dhamaka all in the company of Amol Khanapurkar and competition winners Parag Joshi, Nalini Krishnan, Nidhi Tare, Anusha Kulkarni, Sahana Srinivasan, Anusha Anand from California, Sharaju Mahale, Valentino Almeida, Nagaraju Cemitathollu, Manasi Danke and Jaikishan.
The auditions for this SwaRaag competition drew over 200 contestants out of which a subset in each category will be presented for your final selection. The performers come to us from DC, California , Connecticut , New Hampshire , Massachusetts . Audience can participate through texting an also pick their best choice in the Group Dance categories.
Several trophies will be awarded in each category, along with special awards.
A free cruise for two as a raffle draw to those who auditioned at Sheraton with SwaRaag. Also dinner with a Celebrity to one of the 1st place winners.
SwaRaag MELA exhibit on OCT 26th shall feature many vendors selling Jewelry, Clothes, Decorative Art items, special festival snacks all a great place to indulge before the Diwali weekend.
