Late Jagjit Singh is irreplaceable but Jaswinder Singh was able to recreate the magic and fill in the void left by his friend & guru late Jagjit Singh. People came out in decent number and were glued to their seats until 11.30 PM. Both the audience and the artist went on a trance and Jaswinder Singh ended up singing for an extra one hour. His performance not only included timeless Jajit Singh's ghazal and songs from his album AKS.

The great singer continued his singing after the show at a private dinner organized at Raagini until 1 AM . People who love Jagjit Singh's ghazals were very taken with the authenticity with which Jaswinder Singh rendered the ghazals while remaining true to himself.

Sound for the event was provided by Jawed Wahid and Arsh Mehrotra and Siraj Khan served as the hosts for this wonderful evening of Ghazals which was quite memorable.
